A Prayer

I often reflect on where I came from.
I ponder deep on where to go.
Thinking back, my evil karma is buried deep.
How can I not feel distressed?
Looking ahead, I see that crossroads await.
How can I not tremble at the thought?

Buddha, Oh Buddha the Great,
I lean against The Holy Seat,
Show me the Land of Light and Peace.

Show me the Land of Light and Peace.
